This round-up of amazing Rice Krispie recipes was a spur of the moment idea. I have some family coming this weekend and was in the mood to make something sweet for them… Well, for my grandkids mainly.
To be totally honest with you, I have never been a huge fan of Rice Krispie treats (hanging my head in shame). I think it is mainly because most times I have the opportunity to eat them, it was at a potluck with many other options available… I mean, why waste stomach room on cereal and marshmallows if there are cakes, brownies, or anything chocolaty available?
I start with this confession mainly because, for some reason, for the last few months, when I have thought about making something sweet for my family, all I can think about is Rice Krispie treats!
