My motivation for creating this round-up initially was my grandkids. I have 3 of them coming to stay with me this weekend and I was trying to find something fast and fun to make for them for breakfast. Once I started searching, I thought about how nice it would be to have some of these amazing recipes when my kids were little and I was rushing around on a busy school morning trying to get them to eat something.

Oriental Coleslaw Recipe
One of my favorite things about summer and barbecues — especially potlucks — is the variety of salads you run across. My family prefers either potato salad or tuna salad so I don’t usually make any others. My favorite, however, is this Oriental Coleslaw. I rarely make it, but that is okay because it makes it extra special when I do!
This salad comes together quickly and I love all of the different flavors and textures. While it is perfectly fine to make the salad and serve it the same day, my personal opinion is that it tastes better the second day.

How to Make Simple Melt-in-Your-Mouth Ribs
Before I tried this for myself, I would have never associated the word simple with barbecued ribs and now this is the only way I will ever make them. This was my first attempt at making a rack of ribs… I will admit that the thought of cooking them intimidated me so I never bothered even glancing their way at the grocery store or butcher shop. What changed my mind? Free meat!
I guess technically it wasn’t free meat, I bought a $1 meat raffle ticket and was the lucky winner of this lovely rack. All of a sudden I was excited to experiment with this cut of meat that had previously made me nervous. Who ares if I make a mess of free meat?

15 Cookie Ball Recipes
I have heard a lot about cookie balls lately and have found quite a few fun ideas online. They are similar to the ever-popular cake balls. Where cake balls are usually made by crumbling cake, mixing it with frosting, and rolling it into balls, cookie calls are made by crumbling cookies, mixing them with cream cheese (usually), and rolling them into balls. These balls are usually then dipped in melted chocolate.

12 Stuffing Recipes I Want to Try
For the last week or two, I have been searching the internet for stuffing recipes… I thought this year I might try something new.
Over the years, I have done little more than follow the directions that come along with whatever stuffing mix I happen to buy at the store. Party because my family really likes the stuffing I make, and partly because my family hates change — especially when it comes to their food!
